Fall into Romance Hop with The Romance Reviews

The Romance Reviews HopFall into Romance Hop with The Romance Reviews September 13-21, 2013

My very favorite and first romance novel I ever read is Iris Johansen’s The Beloved Scoundrel published September 1994. I keep buying this book every three or four years. I absolutely love this book because it has hot sex, crazy family members, adventure, mystery, seduction, tragedy, and a great love story.
And I want to share my love of this book and a signed copy of Animal Attraction, an anthology. Signed by all four authors, Lori Foster, Heidi Betts, Maisey Yates and Jules Bennett. All you have to do to enter is tell me your favorite go-to novel.

Marianna Sanders realized she could not trust this dark and savagely seductive stranger who had come to spirit her away across the sea. She possessed a secret that could topple an empire, a secret that Jordan Draken, the duke of Cambaron, was determined to wrest from her. In the eyes of the world the arrogant duke was her guardian, but they both knew she was to be a prisoner in his sinister plot — and a slave to his exquisite pleasure.

For years, brilliant, deadly Jordan Draken had schemed to destroy the emperor who threatened everything he valued most in the world. Now that he held this defiant woman who was the key to his final triumph, he felt a fierce sense of satisfaction… and the first stirring of desire. She was only supposed to be a pawn in his plans, but once alone with his captive, Jordan realized she was a prize he could never surrender.

I have several, depending on my mood, but I adore the dragon trilogy by Anne McCaffrey and I have lost count of how many times I have read Pride and Prejudice. Thanks for the giveaway!

My go to book is A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux. I once read this book onto cassette tapes for my girlfriend to listen to while taking a long road trip by herself. At one point, during my reading, I got so emotional I started sobbing. My girlfriend told me that my crying got her started & she had to pull over until she got the water works under control so she could see to drive, we still laugh about that.

Wow! I have quite a few, but right now I guess the answer would be Jenna Black’s Morgan Kingsley series.

I could pick up anything by Jennifer Crusie (I’ve got them all on my bookshelf) and be happy, but in the past year I’ve reread Damon Suede’s Hot Head so many times and just keep right on loving it.

Great prizes! Thank you so much for being part of the hop.
